What a cookie is
A cookie is a small file a website asks your browser to keep, so it can recognise that browser on a later visit. Two related technologies do a similar job without travelling with every request: local storage, which stays until you delete it, and session storage, which disappears when you close the tab.
This policy covers the three, because what matters is not the technical mechanism but what gets stored on your device and what it is for.
The cookies this site uses
This website is a set of static pages. It runs no analytics, no advertising and no social network tracking, so the list is short and complete.

Support chat cookies
Our chat is provided by Intercom. Its script does not load with the page: it waits until you interact with the site. Once it loads, it stores the following in your browser, under our own domain.

The * stands for a fixed identifier of our Instasent account, the same for every visitor.
When the chat loads, your browser downloads files from js.intercomcdn.com, static.intercomassets.com and widget.intercom.io, and talks to api-iam.intercom.io, which is Intercom's European endpoint.
What this site does not use
Worth saying plainly, because most sites do use them. This one sets nothing for:
- Analytics. No Google Analytics, no Hotjar, no equivalent. We do not measure your visit.
- Advertising or remarketing. No Meta pixel, no Google Ads tags, no conversion pixels.
- Social networks. The links to our profiles are ordinary links: they load nothing until you click them.
- Tag managers. No Google Tag Manager or anything like it.
Where the data goes
The preference cookies never leave your browser. Nobody reads them but this site, and they contain nothing but a language code and the word for an appearance.
Everything the chat stores is processed by Intercom, which acts as our processor and serves us through its European endpoint. What we do with the personal data you give us in that conversation is explained in our Privacy Policy.
How to manage cookies in your browser
Every modern browser lets you see, block and delete cookies and stored data, normally under Settings → Privacy. The exact route changes with each version, so the browser's own help is the reliable source:
- Chrome — Settings → Privacy and security
- Safari — Settings → Privacy
- Firefox — Settings → Privacy & Security
- Edge — Settings → Cookies and site permissions
Private or incognito browsing throws everything away when you close the window.
What happens if you disable them
The site works. The pages are static and not one line of their content depends on a cookie.
You will notice two things. The site will not remember your language or your chosen appearance from one visit to the next, and the support chat will not be able to keep your conversation, so you will start from scratch every time you open it.
